How to Make a no-sew sock puppet

Start by cutting the fabric pieces you will need. First, you will need to cut a dog tongue from either a red or pink piece of fabric. I used felt because it was a thicker material that was easier to work with than cotton or other fabric.

Next cut two similarly shaped teardrop shaped pieces for the ears. The color does not matter, get creative if you like.

Finally cut a long strip of fabric. This fabric will be the dogs collar.

Once you have your fabric pieces cut, lay out the tube sock so the heel is facing up. Fold the toe in slightly.  Using hot glue, glue a red piece of fabric inside the folded in toe to create a dog tongue. Next add the ears onto the bottom of the sock slightly further back in between the toe and the heel.

To make the eyes draw two big black circles on two ping pong balls add eyelashes if desired and hot glue the eyes on the puppet.

Use a marker to add a nose.  Add spots if desired. When the sock puppet is done kids then have an adorable sock puppet to play with.
