Get kids moving with this space themed active group game for school age kids. Grab a basket and some balls, lets play martian rocks!

Supplies

• 2 Hula Hoop
• Balls
• Laundry basket

Martian Rocks Setup

Place  2 hula hoops in the play space.  Put the balls inside of the hula hoop.  Place a laundry basket on the other end of the playing space.  Select two people to be the “guardians of the moon rocks”

How to play Martian Rocks

The guardians of the rocks will guard the balls (rocks) from the martians. Everyone else is a martian.  The goal of the martians is to steal the rocks from the guardians and return them to the laundry basket.  The goal of the guardians is to tag the martians. When a martian gets tagged they are eliminated and take a seat on the sidelines.  

The game is over when all of the rocks are in the basket or no martians remain.
