Balloon pop is an active group game that encourages coordination and strategy. Can you pop other balloons before they pop yours?

Supplies

One balloon for every player.  Two different colored balloons.
Ribbon or string

Set up

Blow up all the balloons and tie a three foot string to the knot of the balloon.  On the other end of the string tie a small loop. Repeat for every balloon. Give each child a balloon and string. Have them pull the string through the loop on the end and slip their foot through the hole.

How to play Balloon Pop

Players with the same colored balloon are on a team.  The object of this activity is to pop all the other teams balloons before they pop yours.  If a players balloon pops, for any reason, they sit on the sidelines and cheer on their teammates until only one team remains.
